NeoPhos is a concentrated phosphorus solution designed for reef aquariums where phosphate is undetectable.

When used in conjunction with MicroBacter7 and Reef BioFuel or Katalyst, NeoPhos enables natural nitrogen assimilation , helping to reduce ammonia, nitrite and nitrate without chemical media and without artificial organic overload.

🎯 Why use NeoPhos?

In nutrient-poor reef systems, a lack of phosphorus can:

🔬 Scientific context

ULNS reef aquariums operate on a precise balance:

Carbon + Nitrogen + Phosphorus → Bacterial growth → Export via skimmer → Coral nutrition

If phosphorus is absent:

Microbial absorption slows down or stops
Nitrates can accumulate
Zooxanthellae lack essential elements

Restoring balance allows the system to be stabilized in the long term.

⚙ Instructions for use

Shake well before use. Do not overdose.

Test PO₄ and NO₃ with precise tests
If PO₄ is undetectable, adjust NeoPhos to reach ~0.02 ppm
Wait 24 hours, then test again.
If no variation → system possibly limited in carbon → add Reef BioFuel (1 ml / 25 US gal)
Maintain PO₄ between 0.01 – 0.02 ppm until NO₃ reaches 3 – 5 ppm

If phosphate increases without a gradual decrease in nitrate → system probably limited in carbon.
