Care and Maintenance

Montipora corals are moderately demanding SPS corals, perfect for intermediate aquarists. They require moderate to strong lighting, moderate to strong water flow, and stable water parameters (calcium 400-450 ppm, alkalinity 8-10 dKH, magnesium 1300-1400 ppm). They are more tolerant of fluctuations than Acropora. Placement in the middle or top of the aquarium is recommended. They fragment very easily for propagation.
