Care and Maintenance

Acropora corals are demanding SPS corals reserved for experienced aquarists. They require strong lighting (LED or T5), a strong and turbulent water flow, and stable, optimal water parameters (calcium 420-450 ppm, alkalinity 8-10 dKH, magnesium 1350-1400 ppm). Pristine water quality with very low nitrate and phosphate levels is essential. Placement at the top of the aquarium is recommended. They fragment easily for propagation.
