Symbiosis with Anemones

Clownfish naturally live in symbiosis with sea anemones. They protect each other: the clownfish defends the anemone, and the anemone protects the clownfish from predators. However, anemones are not essential—clownfish adapt very well without them.

Maintenance Requirements

• Minimum aquarium size - 20 gallons for a pair
• Temperature - 24-26°C (75-79°F)
• Food - Pellets, flakes, mysis, brine shrimp
• Compatibility - Peaceful, avoid aggressive fish
• In pairs - Can be kept alone or in pairs

Advice
