The Picasso triggerfish, also known as the Humuhumu triggerfish or Picasso triggerfish, has a distinctive and colorful appearance. Its body is beige with dark gradient bands, and bright blue and black stripes adorn the top of its head. A yellow stripe runs from one cheek to the other, and its eyes are deeply set.

An aquarium of 680 liters or more, decorated with rocks and caves, provides an ideal habitat. It will readily rearrange the decor and rocks as it moves between the caves. It emits a characteristic grunt. The Picasso triggerfish is a fish that is sure to spark conversation.

To wear down its continuously growing teeth, the Picasso triggerfish needs a varied diet consisting of meaty foods, such as squid, krill, clams, small fish and hard-shelled shrimp.
