Samurai or Ninja: which one

Reef Casa builds two DC return pumps. The call comes down to your tank volume:

• Aqua Ninja — 185 GPH, 9 W, DC 12 V. For 5 to 30 gallons: Pico, Studio, Cube, Tide, frag tanks.
• Aqua Samurai — 475 GPH, 24 W, DC 24 V. For 15 to 40 gallons, including the Laguna.

The Samurai moves two and a half times the flow of the Ninja, and it publishes a 2 metre head — which matters if your pump has to push water up any real height.

The controller comes in the box

Feed mode cuts the pump for the length of a meal at the touch of a button, instead of making you pull the plug. And flow adjustment lets you dial the return to what your tank can take, rather than living with the single speed of an AC pump.
