The Red-spotted Cardinalfish ( Apogon parvulus ) is a small, elegant, semi-transparent marine fish, perfect for adding a touch of delicacy to your community reef aquarium.
Distinctive appearance: This magnificent cardinalfish has a translucent bluish body with an iridescent horizontal stripe and a characteristic red spot on its dorsal fin. Its small size and graceful swimming make it a charming and peaceful addition to any aquarium.

- Diet: Carnivore - accepts mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, frozen cyclops, and high-quality pellets. Feed 1-2 times daily in the evening
- Aquarium: Provide plenty of hiding places with live rock and shaded areas. Moderate to low lighting is preferred.
- Behavior: Very peaceful, forms tight groups, shy during the day
Compatibility: Excellent choice for nano reefs and reef aquariums with soft and hard corals, shrimp, and other small, peaceful fish. Avoid with aggressive or predatory fish.
