The Red Sea ReefGate is the new high-precision gate valve designed specifically for reef aquariums. Unlike standard gate valves, the ReefGate is made entirely from reef-safe plastic, eliminating any risk of corrosion in saltwater. Each full rotation of the ergonomic handwheel opens or closes the valve by only 1 mm, providing the fine incremental control needed to perfectly balance downflow with return pump output.

• 40 mm / 1¼" Kit — For REEFER 350, 425, 525, 625, 750, 900 G2, S-series and Peninsula G2. Includes: 1x ReefGate valve 40 mm, 1x 90° elbow, 1x 40 mm to 32 mm reducer, 1x 40 mm union, 1x 32 mm union and PVC pipes.
• Replacement Down Pipe for REEFER 170-200 G2 — Fully assembled and ready to install, no cutting required.

Compatibility

The retrofit kits are compatible with all REEFER G1 and G2 models, including the REEFER, REEFER S and REEFER Peninsula series. The standard ReefGate valve fits any plumbing using 32 mm / 1" or 40 mm / 1¼" pipes, making it compatible with any aquarium brand using these standard dimensions.

All kits include the necessary components for connecting to the Red Sea ReefMat roller filter. Retrofitting requires cutting and gluing your existing pipes.
