White Beaded Anemone (heteractis aurora)

The White Beaded Anemone ( Heteractis aurora ) is the white morph of the Pearly Anemone—with pearly white to translucent, tapered tentacles bearing characteristic "beaded" bulges. This light morph is rarer than the brown versions, creating an elegant and luminous visual effect. Intended for experienced aquarists.

Requirements

• Lighting: very bright — 200–300+ PAR
• Water flow: moderate, non-directional
• Temperature: 25–27°C stable — Salinity: 1.025–1.026 stable
• pH: 7.8–8.4 (normal natural day/night fluctuation in a reef tank)
• Alkalinity: 8–9 dKH — Calcium: 400–450 ppm
• Very mature tank — minimum 12 months

Moves to find its ideal location. Sensitive to changes in parameters. Stinging tentacles.

Food

Feed 2–3 times per week with shrimp or carnivore food.
