Each box contains 2 socks, so a clean one is always ready while the other dries.

If you own a REEFER aquarium, do not buy this model: it will not fit the standard 4 in ring of REEFER systems. For those, pick the 225 micron thin-mesh 4 in filter sock instead. The principle stays the same as on bigger systems: the finer the mesh, the more it filters, but the faster it clogs.
