The bar, plus the buttons

On the bar side, it is the full ReefControl Power 8: 8 individually controlled NEMA 120V outlets, 1,875W total (≈ 15.6A at 120V), a 16A relay per outlet, per-outlet power monitoring in ReefBeat, and probe-driven automation when paired with a ReefControl controller. On the panel side, it is the Control Panel 8: eight physical buttons, one per outlet, with status lights — the maintenance move reduced to one press.

What does 1,875W mean in practice?

It is not unlimited. A 300W heater, a 500W chiller, the return pump, wavemakers, skimmer and lights — you approach the limit quickly. On a large system, the prudent practice is to split the big consumers across two bars instead of one.

The same bar — the Deluxe adds the Control Panel 8 in the box, for less than buying both separately. If you already know you want the physical buttons, the Deluxe is the right buy from the start.

Does the Deluxe work without a ReefControl controller?

The bar is managed in the ReefBeat app. For outlets to react automatically to probes — heater shutoff on overheat, pump stop on a leak — you need a ReefControl controller and its ReefSense probes.

Can I plug everything into it?

Up to 1,875W total. On a big system, do the math first — a heater and a chiller on the same bar approach the limit quickly.
