⚠️ Important — Hydra Edge Mounting Requires Two Separate Parts

The Hydra Edge mounting system uses two components sold separately. You need both parts to complete the installation of each fixture:

• Part 1 — Model-Specific Bracket: The Hydra Edge 44HD Mounting Bracket or the Hydra Edge 68HD Mounting Bracket. This C-bracket includes a rear tilt mount and a top tilt mount, allowing you to angle and aim your light precisely.
• Part 2 — Tank Mount: The HMS Single Arm Kit (for a single fixture), the HMS Multi-Light Track (for multiple fixtures on one rail), or the HMS Hanging Kit (ceiling suspension).

Example: To mount a Hydra Edge 44HD on your tank rim, you need the Hydra Edge 44HD Mounting Bracket + the HMS Single Arm Kit. For a Hydra Edge 68HD, you need the Hydra Edge 68HD Mounting Bracket + the HMS Single Arm Kit.

Does the HMS Single Arm Kit work on rimmed tanks?

The HMS Single Arm Kit is designed for rimless aquariums with a maximum glass thickness of 1.2 in. (3 cm). For rimmed tanks, verify that the clamp can accommodate the total thickness including the rim.
