Aquavitro Fuel — Coral Supplement with Chlorella, Amino Acids and Vitamins 150 ml, 350 ml and 1 L
Available
Aquavitro Fuel is a comprehensive carbohydrate, vitamin, amino acid, polyunsaturated fatty acid and trace element supplement developed to address the nutritional requirements commonly associated with corals. It contains ascorbic acid in a base of chlorella — a freshwater algae extremely high in enzymes, vitamins and minerals, including the full vitamin-B complex. Aquavitro is the first to use chlorella rather than spirulina, which contains fewer amino acids.

Main advantages
- Comprehensive carbohydrate, vitamin, amino acid and polyunsaturated fatty acid supplement for corals
- Ascorbic acid in a base of chlorella
- Makes a separate trace element supplement unnecessary
- Formulated to provide the nutrients available from natural tropical reef waters
- Three sizes offered: 150 ml, 350 ml and 1 L
Directions (Aquavitro)
Shake well before using. Use 5 mL for every 80 L (20 US gallons) twice a week, or as required to maintain coral growth.
The manufacturer recommends refrigerating after opening to help preserve the organics. If kept at room temperature, the product remains usable. Over time, it is entirely normal for it to darken and develop a stronger organic smell.

Rounding out your reef routine
Fuel feeds the coral; it does not replace the supplements that build its skeleton. These products from our catalogue pair well with it:
- Seachem Reef Plus — the trace element and micronutrient supplement the manufacturer itself compares Fuel to
- Seachem Reef Complete — liquid ionic calcium for coral skeleton mineralization
- Aquaforest Components Strong — concentrated trace elements for a complete Balling routine
- Aquaforest Bio S — nitrifying bacteria to keep the nitrogen cycle stable during supplementation
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Aquavitro Fuel and Seachem Reef Plus?
According to the manufacturer, these are two completely different products despite appearances. Reef Plus is a trace element and micronutrient supplement, while Fuel can serve as a complete food source for corals: it contains the trace elements and micronutrients, but also protein, carbohydrates, polyunsaturated fats and the full vitamin-B complex. The chlorella base, extremely nutrient-rich, is absent from Reef Plus.
Does Aquavitro Fuel need to be refrigerated?
The manufacturer recommends it, as refrigeration helps preserve the organics in the product. That said, a product kept at room temperature will not break down completely and remains usable. It is normal for it to darken and smell stronger over time.
Is there a second seal under the cap on the 150 ml and 350 ml bottles?
No. Aquavitro uses a particular cap style across its line that seals tightly once closed, making an additional seal unnecessary.
