Fish That Eat Algae
Dried seaweed leaves are essential for feeding your herbivorous and omnivorous marine fish: surgeonfish (tangs), angelfish, parrotfish, herbivorous blennies, foxfaces, and rabbitfish. These fish need seaweed in their daily diet for optimal health and a healthy digestive system.
Advantages of Algae
- Complete nutrition - Essential vitamins, minerals and fiber
- Vibrant colors - Natural pigments intensify the colors
- Immune system - Strengthens natural defenses
- Healthy digestion - Fiber for optimal intestinal transit
- Natural - Diet close to a wild diet
Use
Attach a dried seaweed leaf to the clip, then secure the clip to the aquarium glass with the suction cup or magnet. Herbivorous fish will graze naturally throughout the day. Feed strictly herbivorous fish daily, and omnivorous fish 2-3 times a week. Live Caulerpa plants can be placed in a refugium with 24/7 reverse lighting.
