Seachem Clarity 250 mL — Water Clarifier for Reef and Freshwater Aquariums

Seachem Clarity 250 mL is the standard size for Seachem's universal clarifier—ideal for medium to large aquariums that experience recurring cloudiness, or for aquarists managing multiple tanks. It contains the same polymeric flocculant formula as the 100 mL version, capable of treating all types of cloudiness—bacterial bloom, particulate cloudiness, and chemical precipitation—in a single dose. The 250 mL size ensures a sufficient supply for quick action at any time, so you're never caught short.

Particularly useful in active reef systems where regular dosing of calcium, magnesium and alkalinity can occasionally cause chemical precipitation, or after adding new substrate to a running tank.

Seachem Official Usage Protocol

• Dosage: 5 mL (1 capful) per 80 litres
• Frequency: Redose every 24 hours if necessary
• Prerequisite: Polyfill wadding or fine foam in the filter — change when it becomes clogged
• Normal: the water appears cloudier in the first few minutes — this is flocculation at work; it will clear up in 1 to 2 hours.
• After particulate or chemical treatment: clean the cotton wool once the water has cleared.
• Storage: no expiration date
