PURIGEN™ - Premium Synthetic Resin for Aquariums

Purigen™ is the most remarkable synthetic adsorption resin because it cannot be compared to any other existing product. It is not a mixture of conventional ion exchangers or adsorbents but a unique macroporous synthetic polymer.

EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMANCE

Purigen™ removes soluble and insoluble impurities from water at a rate and capacity that surpasses all other products by more than 500%.

WHAT PURIGEN™ CONTROLS

• Nitrogenous organic waste (dissolved and insoluble)
• Control of ammonia, nitrites and nitrates (indirectly by removing organic waste before it is processed)
• Minimal impact on trace elements

CAPACITY AND DURATION

The 250 ml format treats up to 1,000 litres for up to 6 months (depending on the organic load).

REGENERATION

Step 1: Soak in a 1:1 water:bleach solution (8.25% unscented, dye-free, not "splash-less") for 24 hours in a non-metallic container in a well-ventilated area away from children.

Step 2: Rinse thoroughly and soak for 8 hours in a solution containing 4 tablespoons of Prime per cup of water (or equivalent dechlorinator). Rinse very well.

Step 3 (fresh water only): Soak for 4 hours in a container that contains 2 tablespoons of buffer per cup of water (Discus Buffer, Neutral Regulator or Acid Buffer).

CAUTION: Some layers of grease or "slime" from various products can damage the Purigen and make regeneration difficult. Do not reuse if there is a chlorine odor. If in doubt, place the Purigen in a small amount of water and test for chlorine.
