Technical information
Liquid Reef contains twice as much calcium as natural aragonite compared to carbonates. The active components include natural aragonite, improving solubility and efficacy. Beneficiary organisms: hard corals, mollusks (bivalves, gastropods), tubeworms, and calcareous algae (corallins, Halimeda, Penicilus).

The advantage of this method is that a single product is sufficient to establish and maintain water parameters conducive to reef formation. Targeted supplementation may be necessary depending on population density and system conditions.

Instructions for use
Shake well before use. Add 5 ml (one capful) per 190 liters every two days or as needed to maintain calcium levels between 412 and 450 ppm. Used this way, 250 ml treats up to 9,464 liters. The addition may temporarily cloud the water; it is best to add it in the evening.

Advanced tips
Determine the calcium concentration with an accurate test kit before adding any calcium. Each ml increases the [Ca2+] in 3.785 L by approximately 37 ppm. If the initial [Ca2+] is < 412 ppm, add a maximum of 10 ml per 114 L per day until the desired concentration is reached.

To determine the maintenance dose: measure the daily decrease in [Ca2+] for 1-2 weeks at the same time each day. Calculate the daily dose: (daily decrease ÷ 37) × water volume = dose in ml. A daily dose maintains a more stable concentration than a weekly dose.

Attention
May irritate eyes or skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water for 15 minutes. Consult a doctor if irritation persists. Keep out of reach of children. Do not ingest.
