Cirrhilabrus Flavidorsalis - Yellow Fin Fairy - Millenium Wrasse
The yellowfin wrasse is primarily red and white, with a yellow dorsal fin. Females of this species, like other wrasse of the genus Cirrhilabrus, are mostly pink with a white belly. During courtship, the male displays more vibrant colors. These wrasse are constantly in motion, providing continuous activity, whether in a saltwater aquarium stocked solely with fish or a reef aquarium.
A 200-liter (or larger) aquarium with a shaded area is recommended, whether it's a fish tank or a reef tank. The yellowfin wrasse doesn't prey on other fish or invertebrates, making it an excellent choice for any reef aquarium. This fish likes to jump, so a well-fitting lid is essential.
The diet of the yellow-finned wrasse should include frozen mysis and brine shrimp enriched with vitamins, as well as other meaty foods, supplemented with high-quality marine flakes and pellets.
