Fine and coarse activated carbon filters for adsorption filtration
For adsorption filtration – also to remove harmful chemicals (chlorine, residues from medical treatments, etc.) – there are special fine and coarse activated carbon filters as filter inserts. Adsorption filtration is usually only necessary in the start-up phase of aquariums or after the use of medication. The filter media should only be used for a short time (approx. 4 weeks) and then removed or replaced.
