The reeflexUV 1500 is designed for freshwater and saltwater aquariums from 700 to 1,500 liters (185 to 396 gallons). Its 18-watt UV-C lamp offers a maximum flow rate of 1,000 l/h in sterilization mode (bacteria and parasites) and 2,000 l/h in clarification mode (algae and turbidity). This is the recommended model for large reef aquariums and multi-tank systems. Water flows directly around the UV-C tube without detours or deviations, eliminating any performance loss associated with water path.

EHEIM Reflector Technology

The high-gloss polished aluminum internal reflector is the distinctive technology of the reeflexUV. In a conventional UV sterilizer, UV-C rays only irradiate the water from one side. The EHEIM reflector redirects the radiation so that it penetrates the water from multiple sides, multiplying germicidal efficiency by 1.8 with the same power consumption. AUTO-OFF Safety

UV-C rays are harmful to skin and eyes. The integrated AUTO-OFF system automatically cuts power as soon as the device is opened, ensuring safe handling during maintenance and lamp replacement.

Installation

Install the reeflexUV 1500 on the pressure side (return) of your external filter or a circulation pump. The device comes with fittings for 12/16 mm and 16/22 mm hoses, compatible with most EHEIM external filters and other brands. Installation is variable: no imposed position or flow direction. The included mounting bracket allows for easy installation.
