A natural host for the clownfish Amphiprion ocellaris and A. percula .
Requirements
- Lighting: strong to very strong — 200–350 PAR to reveal colors
- Water flow: moderate to strong, non-directional
- Temperature: 25–27°C — Salinity: 1.025–1.026 stable
- pH: 7.8–8.4 (normal natural day/night fluctuation in a reef tank)
- Alkalinity: 8–9 dKH — Calcium: 400–450 ppm
- Bac mature minimum 6 months
Behavior
It attaches itself in a well-lit rock crevice. Stinging tentacles — open space around corals. Divides naturally by binary fission.
Food
Feed 2–3 times per week with shrimp or specialized carnivore food.
Compatibility
Ideal with Amphiprion ocellaris , A. percula . Incompatible with butterflyfish.
