The Red Sea ReefDose 4 is a four-head automatic dosing pump built specifically for the daily supplementation of reef aquariums. Every head runs on a direct-drive planetary gear-motor that delivers ±0.05 ml accuracy — down to a single drop — and the whole unit is managed through the ReefBeat app alongside the rest of Red Sea's smart devices. Single-drop accuracy

Each head handles a daily dose from 0.2 to 1000 ml, adjustable in 0.1 ml increments. Three flow rates are available: Whisper at 15 ml/min for near-silent operation, Regular at 30 ml/min, and Turbo at 45 ml/min when you want the dosing done quickly. Red Sea rates the motors for a 10-year life expectancy.

Tool-free installation

The dosing heads click on and off without tools or alignment. A wall-mounting bracket is included, and the secured connectors take flexible tubing of 5 mm outer diameter (3 mm inner). The unit measures 22.5 x 10.5 x 8.5 cm (8.9" x 4.1" x 3.4").

Both share the same ±0.05 ml accuracy and the same ReefBeat programming. The difference is the head count (2 vs 4) and the width (13 cm vs 22.5 cm). If you expect to dose three or four products — the most common scenario in reefkeeping — the ReefDose 4 saves you from buying a second unit later.

Does the ReefDose need Wi-Fi to work?

No. Red Sea's official manual provides an "Offline" mode when no Wi-Fi network is available at the aquarium; you can switch back online whenever a network becomes available. Wi-Fi is still required for remote notifications and full ReefBeat functionality.
