Components Strong by Aquaforest is a set of four concentrated trace-element solutions (A, B, C, K) that complete the Balling method. This 4 x 75 ml set delivers the micro-elements essential to coral coloration and health, alongside the major elements (calcium, magnesium, KH). The components are sold as a set and can't be bought separately.

What's in the set

According to Aquaforest: Component A Strong contains concentrated strontium and barium; Component B Strong contains heavy metals (iron, manganese, copper, zinc, nickel, chromium); Component C Strong contains concentrated iodide and fluoride; Component K Strong contains concentrated potassium. These trace elements play a key role in calcification, coloration and the reef's biological processes.

How to use

Components Strong are added to homemade Balling solutions: add 5 ml of Component A and Component B per litre of calcium (calcium chloride) solution; 5 ml of Component C per litre of KH Buffer (sodium bicarbonate) solution; 5 ml of Component K per litre of magnesium and Reef Mineral Salt solution. The amount of trace elements depends directly on your calcium and magnesium needs.
