Brightwell Liquid Reef 500ml is a complete source of elements directly used by hard corals (SPS & LPS), giant clams, coralline algae and other calcifying invertebrates for the formation of their skeleton.

Its concentrated formula provides:

• Highly available calcium (140,000 ppm)
• Carbonates derived from natural aragonite
• Strontium
• Magnesium
• Potassium

All in proportions similar to natural aragonite.

Liquid Reef contains twice as much calcium relative to carbonates as natural aragonite.

🧪 Official instructions

Shake well before use.

Standard dosage

Add 5 ml per 190 L every two days
or adjust as needed to maintain calcium between 412 and 450 ppm

The addition may temporarily cloud the water; preferably do so in the evening.

🔬 Advanced Calculation

Each ml increases the calcium in 3.785 L by approximately 37 ppm .

If calcium is below 412 ppm:

• Add a maximum of 10 ml per 114 L per day
• Until the desired concentration is reached

Personalized maintenance dose

1. Measure the daily decrease in calcium over 1 to 2 weeks
2. Calculation :
   (daily decrease ÷ 37) × water volume = daily dose in ml

A daily dose provides better stability than a weekly dose.
