Brightwell MicroBacter Clean is a microbial and enzyme complex designed to biologically clean the surfaces of your marine aquarium. Its formula combines non-pathogenic microorganisms and natural enzymes that help to dislodge and break down organic buildup on live rock, decorations, and substrates.

Ideal for the regular maintenance of reef and FO (Fish Only) aquariums, MicroBacter Clean promotes a cleaner and more stable environment.

Official instructions

Shake well before use.

Dilute the recommended dose in approximately 250 ml of aquarium water before adding to the tank to ensure even dispersion.

Standard maintenance dosage

20 ml (≈4 caps) per 25 US gallons (≈94.6 L) once a week.

Problematic aquarium dosage

30 ml (≈6 caps) per 25 US gallons on the first day,
then 5 ml (≈1 capful) per 25 US gallons per day for 2 weeks or more as needed.

During the addition process: disable the skimmer and UV sterilization for approximately 4 hours.

Optimal results may take 8 to 10 weeks in heavily loaded systems.
