Placement and lighting

Position this LPS coral in the lower to middle zone of your aquarium. Euphyllia paraancora prefers moderate lighting (PAR 80-150) and a medium to low water flow to allow the polyps to fully expand without stress.

Food

Although photosynthetic, this coral greatly benefits from targeted feeding 2-3 times a week with LPS coral food, zooplankton, or enriched brine shrimp. Feed in the evening when the polyps are fully extended.

Compatibility

Euphyllia have sweeping tentacles that can extend up to 15-20 cm at night. Maintain a safe distance from other corals. Compatible with most reef fish and invertebrates.

Acclimatization

Acclimation should be carried out slowly over a minimum of 30-45 minutes. Initially, place the coral in a low-light area and gradually increase the light intensity over 1-2 weeks to avoid photic stress.
