With the addition of 395nm diodes, G6 pushes further into the UV range, reaching a new level of coral and fish fluorescence. The Blue and Pro models also feature color channel rebalancing and LED (diode) mixing to increase the most flexible and balanced spectra available in aquarium lighting.

G6 Spectrum Anatomy
395nm: Unlocks additional fluorescence in fish and corals.
400-450nm: Rebalancing the cluster with more blue and deep blue increases fluorescence, color rendition and provides a new level of tuning in the blue spectrum between sharp and actinic.
460-580nm: Reducing mid-range spectral output maintains color expression in pigmentation while allowing more power to be used in a more photosynthetically useful and aesthetically valuable output.
665nm: Proper use of long wavelength diodes provides useful light output for coral photosynthesis as well as visual color balancing.
