Entacmaea Quadricolor Green (Green Bubble Anemone)

The Green Entacmaea quadricolor is a popular morph of the Bulbous Anemone, with a bright green to emerald green body and tentacles, sometimes fluorescent under actinic lighting. It is one of the most common and hardiest natural morphs of the species. It is a natural host for the clownfish Amphiprion ocellaris and A. percula .
Requirements
- Lighting: strong to very strong — 200–350 PAR
- Water flow: moderate to strong, non-directional
- Temperature: 25–27°C — Salinity: 1.025–1.026 stable
- pH: 7.8–8.4 (normal natural day/night fluctuation in a reef tank)
- Alkalinity: 8–9 dKH — Calcium: 400–450 ppm
- Bac mature minimum 6 months
Behavior
It moves to find its ideal location in a well-lit rock crevice. Stinging tentacles – clear space around neighboring corals. Divides by fission under good conditions.
Food
Feed 2–3 times per week with shrimp, mussels or carnivorous food.
Compatibility
Ideal with Amphiprion ocellaris , A. percula . Incompatible with butterflyfish.
