Polyplab One brings calcium, alkalinity and magnesium together in one balanced solution — no calcium reactor, no multi-part system, no extra equipment. A simple way to hold the "big three" parameters of a reef tank from a single bottle.

How One works

One is engineered from two forms of acetate and hydroxide salts. Once dosed, the calcium and magnesium ions are freely available to corals, clams and other reef organisms. The acetate ions are metabolized by bacteria into biologically available bicarbonate, while the hydroxide salts add extra buffering capacity.

Preparation before use

Fill the bottle with reverse-osmosis (RO) water and shake; top up with RO water until the level reaches the neck of the bottle. The product is then ready to use. Shake well before each use.

Directions (per Polyplab)

• For every 50 US gallons (189 L) of total aquarium volume, dose 1 to 4 capfuls (5 to 20 mL).
• Dose in an area with good flow, away from direct contact with corals.
• The product temporarily clouds the water after dosing — it's recommended to dose One at night.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed between uses.

Proper dosing with One maintains: 400 ppm calcium, 7 dKH alkalinity, 1300 ppm magnesium.
