Polyplab RF Fuel 500 ml — the carbon source that feeds your bacteria

Polyplab RF Fuel is a fusion of organic carbon sources enriched with amino acids. It's a safe, highly effective carbon-based bacterial food that steadily improves water quality. The process is gentle and has no negative effect on your existing corals. 500 ml size.

How RF Fuel works

By supplying a carbon source to the bacteria in your system, RF Fuel boosts their activity. Those bacteria consume excess nutrients — nitrates and phosphates come down gently, without the swings of an aggressive method. The added amino acids support coral health at the same time.

Dosing (per Polyplab)

  • Draw the appropriate amount with a syringe, following the manufacturer's dosage chart.
  • Dose for every 25 US gallons (95 L) of system volume, referring to the chart.

  • For best results, dose during the day with the lights on.

RF Fuel in the Reef-Fresh system

RF Fuel is one of the four components of the Reef-Fresh system, Polyplab's low-nutrient approach built on microbial activity. It pairs with RF Genesis (the bacteria), RF Acides (the amino acids) and RF Plus (the coral food). Polyplab recommends using all components together for maximum effect — stated benefits: better coral color and growth, cleaner water, fewer nuisance-algae outbreaks.

FAQ

How do I dose RF Fuel?

With a syringe, following the manufacturer's dosage chart, for every 25 US gallons (95 L) of system volume. Dose during the day with the lights on, in the sump or an area of strong flow.

Does RF Fuel lower nitrates and phosphates?

Yes — by feeding the bacteria that consume excess nutrients. The reduction is gradual and gentle on corals.

Should I use it alone or with the rest of the system?

Polyplab recommends using all four Reef-Fresh components together (Genesis, Fuel, Acides, Plus) to maximize effectiveness.
