Installation

The cables attach directly to the integrated mounting eyelets on your Radion. Secure the ceiling mounts directly above your aquarium, attach the cables, and adjust the height by shortening the cables as needed. The recommended height is approximately 8 inches (20 cm) above the edge of the aquarium for optimal PAR.

When to choose hanging over the RMS mount?

Ceiling suspension is ideal when you cannot or do not wish to attach an arm to the edge of the aquarium — recessed aquariums, cabinets with canopies, or simply for a clean, uncluttered look. It also allows for easy height adjustment of the light fixture to modify PAR coverage.
