The MAX® E Series incorporates the latest technologies in reef aquariums, including all-new Red Sea ReefLED™ 90 lights with Wi-Fi control, REEF-SPEC® filtration and circulation systems, a revolutionary modular sump system and a unique control panel.

Red Sea REEF-SPEC® Performance for Guaranteed Success

Red Sea's REEF-SPEC® performance criteria are the result of many years of research into the sustainable growth of all corals, including the most delicate SPS corals, in an artificial reef environment. This knowledge, gained over 25 years, forms the basis for the design of all MAX® aquarium systems.

ReefLED™ 90 Reef Safe Lighting

The MAX® E Series features the new Red Sea ReefLED™ 90 lamps, designed to ensure optimal coral growth and maximum enhancement of their vibrant colors.

• Each light contains a compact LED array providing reef-safe REEF-SPEC light through a REEF-SPEC Blue channel (23,000 Kelvin), consisting of an optimal combination of ultraviolet, violet and blue, as well as a white channel at 8,000 Kelvin.

• A dedicated 3W Moonlight channel is also included to provide soft illumination, ideal for night viewing.

• The ReefLED is controlled by Red Sea's ReefBeat® app, offering features such as random clouds, acclimation for new installations and a lunar cycle.

The LED system is securely attached to the aquarium and can be rotated for easy access to the rear sump during regular maintenance.

Revolutionary modular sump system

The MAX® E Series features a unique sump system, allowing easy conversion from the integrated rear sump to a stand-alone sump placed within the cabinet.

• Integrated Sump: Perfect for getting started, it contains all REEF-SPEC® filtration and circulation systems.

• Easy Conversion: By adding a conversion kit, the system can be expanded with a glass sump including a skimmer compartment, an adjustable overflow system and automatic filling.

MAX® E Ultra-Clear Glass

The MAX® E Series front and side panels are made of ultra-clear glass for an exceptional visual experience. Their 12 mm thickness eliminates the need for reinforcements, providing a clean, borderless design.

Circulation MAX® E

• MAX® E-170: Equipped with a 2,150 l/h pump for efficient circulation.

• MAX® E-260: Uses two European Eco pumps providing a total flow rate of 4,300 l/h, for complete water circulation 16 times per hour.

MAX® E Rear Sump

The rear sump contains multi-stage filtration consisting of a REEF-SPEC® skimmer, activated carbon and mechanical filter media. A dedicated space allows for the addition of additional chemical media or a chiller.

MAX® E Skimmer

The MSK 900 skimmer is at the heart of the filtration system. It meets REEF-SPEC® criteria by passing the entire volume of water in the aquarium at least three times per hour with a water/air ratio of 3:1. Its design is optimized for consistent performance despite evaporation.

Filter media support

The rear sump includes a convenient holder for Red Sea's highly absorbent, phosphate-free REEF-SPEC™ carbon, as well as shelves for easily adding other chemical media.

Integrated control center

The MAX® E Series features an electrical panel with 7 individually switched outlets, providing easy and safe access to all electrical subsystems.

MARINE-SPEC furniture

The cabinet is designed with a marine-specific laminate, moisture-resistant epoxy doors and soft-close stainless steel hinges. Available in black or white, the cabinet interior is black for a long-lasting clean look.
