Meet the colossal MAX NANO G2 XXL Plug & Play. This system may be NANO in name, but it has some serious specs. It measures 90 cm, or 35.5 inches wide, 50 cm, or 20 inches high, and 55 cm, or 22 inches front to back, holding 200 liters, or 53 gallons.

ReefLED 50 Reef Safe Lighting

The MAX NANO G2 XXL features the all-new Red Sea ReefLED 50 lamps designed to ensure optimal coral growth and maximum rendering of their vivid colors.

At the heart of the unit is a compact LED array that provides a range of reef-safe REEF-SPEC light via a single REEF-SPEC Blue channel (23,000 Kelvin) consisting of an optimal combination of ultraviolet, violet and blue LEDs and an 8,000 Kelvin white channel. Additionally, it features a separate dedicated 3W Moonlight channel to provide the low light levels for reef-safe nighttime viewing.

The ReefLED features a single hollow optical glass lens that creates a uniform light providing spectacular coral coloration and a soft shimmer throughout the aquarium.

The ReefLED is controlled by Red Sea's ReefBeat app which offers a wide range of easy-to-use features such as random clouds, acclimation for new installations and a lunar cycle for moonlight.

The LED unit is securely bolted to the aquarium and can be rotated for easy access to the rear sump for any regular maintenance needs or reefing.

MAX NANO G2 XXL Ultra-clear glass

The front and both side panels of the MAX NANO are constructed from 8mm ultra-clear glass with smart beveled edges at the top and bottom for the ultimate viewing experience.

Circulation MAX NANO G2 XXL

Two European Eco pumps provide a total water flow of 3600 l/h (409 gph each), circulating the entire volume of water 18 times per hour through the filtration system. The flow is returned to the aquarium via the discreet multi-directional 'eyeball' nozzles which can be adjusted to ensure there are no dead spots in the aquarium, preventing the build-up of harmful detritus on the corals.

MAX NANO G2 XXL Rear Sump

The complete filtration system is hidden in the rear sump which is topped with a rotating screen for easy access. Powered by a unique surface skimmer that directs water to a custom micron filter bag, the rear sump houses a quiet REEF-SPEC protein skimmer, two 1550 lph / 409 gph European ECO circulation pumps.

MAX NANO G2 XXL Protein Skimmer

The heart of the filtration system is the protein skimmer. The NANO XL skimmer implements Red Sea’s REEF-SPEC criteria for SPS corals, passing the entire volume of aquarium water through the skimmer approximately 3 times per hour and with a water to air ratio of 3:1. The NANO XL skimmer is unaffected by the regular fluctuation of the rear sump water level due to evaporation and has an adjustable outlet gate to maintain the optimum skimming consistency which will vary depending on actual water conditions. The NANO XL skimmer operates quietly with a built-in silencer on the air intake and a sponge on the outlet to eliminate the sound of cascading water.

The rotating screen allows easy access to the rear filtration compartment sump, whilst ensuring that the aesthetics of the aquarium are not disrupted.

Ready for NanoMat

The NanoMat gives you enhanced mechanical filtration, with a self-advancing fleece roller mechanism that keeps your aquarium water crystal clear. *Optional add-on, purchased separately.

Ready for ReefATO+

The ReefATO+ gives you an extremely reliable automatic filling system and a highly accurate temperature monitor and leak detector. *Optional add-on, purchased separately.
