The Red Sea ReefLED 160S/170 universal mounting arm attaches a ReefLED 160S or ReefLED G2 170 unit individually to the rear wall of your aquarium. Designed for large reef aquariums, the arm rotates to the upright position for easy access during feeding, maintenance or reefscaping. It adjusts to aquariums 57 to 80 cm (22.5 to 32 in) wide with glass thickness of 8 to 19 mm.

Which Mounting Arm Should You Choose?

The 160S/170 arm is the largest in the range, designed for the ReefLED 160S and G2 170 on aquariums 57 to 80 cm wide (REEFER 350, 425, 525, 750). For medium aquariums with the ReefLED 90 and G2 115, use the 90/115 arm (46-70 cm). For nano aquariums with the ReefLED 50 and G2 60, use the 50/60 arm (36-51 cm). No. The 160S/170 arm is designed exclusively for the ReefLED 160S and G2 170. For the G2 115, use the 90/115 arm. For the G2 60, use the 50/60 arm.

How many arms do I need for a Red Sea REEFER 525?

The REEFER 525 typically runs 3 x ReefLED G2 170. You therefore need 3 x 160S/170 mounting arms, one per ReefLED unit.

Does this arm work on a rimmed aquarium?

No. This arm is designed for rimless glass aquariums with a thickness of 8 to 19 mm. It is not compatible with plastic-trimmed aquariums.
