The Red Sea Slide-out Control Panel 25 is a shelf that mounts inside your aquarium cabinet and slides out with your equipment on it. Doser, controller, power supply: instead of lying on the floor to reach the back of the cabinet, you pull the shelf toward you.

How to know whether it fits

Red Sea publishes one criterion that settles everything: your cabinet's internal depth must be at least 46 cm. Grab a tape measure, open the door, measure front to back. That's more reliable than a model list, because it also works on a cabinet that isn't a REEFER.

If you have 51 cm of depth or more, look at the Control Panel 60 instead: far more surface, and it's the only one of the two that takes the utility basket.

Check what you already have, too. Red Sea includes a slide-out panel as original equipment in several of its systems, notably the REEFER S range and much of the REEFER MAX G2+ line. No point buying a second one if yours is already fitted — write to us with your tank's exact name and we'll check before you order.

Frequently asked questions

Control Panel 25 or 60?

Your cabinet depth decides: 46 cm minimum for the 25, 51 cm minimum for the 60. The 25 measures 25 x 45 cm, the 60 measures 60 x 50 cm. Only the 60 takes the utility basket for supplement bottles.

Can it mount on either side of the cabinet?

Yes. Red Sea designed the panel to be fitted left or right, your choice. The brackets leave 3 cm of clearance so the door and its hinges work normally.

Does it hold up to the humidity of an aquarium cabinet?

The panel is marine-spec laminated plywood and the sliders are stainless steel — those are the materials Red Sea specifies for this exact use.

How much weight can it carry?

Red Sea publishes no maximum load for this panel. If you see a figure elsewhere, it does not come from the manufacturer. Write to us describing what you plan to mount on it and we'll check with Red Sea.
