Polyplab Reef Primer Shot 9 g — the single dose to disinfect a new coral

The Reef Primer Shot is a single-use 9 g pouch of Polyplab's Reef Primer dip. Potassium-salt based, it preps your new corals and frags by reducing the risk of introducing pests into your tank. Perfect when you bring home a single coral and don't want to open a large tub.

What Reef Primer removes

Used as a dip, it helps dislodge, among others:

  • Zoanthid- and Montipora-eating nudibranchs
  • Acropora-eating flatworms (AEFW) and red flatworms
  • Bristleworms and zoanthid-eating spiders
  • Filamentous hair algae

It's gentle on coral and won't trigger a stress response from the dipping process.

How to use it

  • Dissolve the full 9 g packet in 1 gallon (4 liters) of aquarium water — stir until fully dissolved.
  • Dip your corals and frags for a maximum of 5 minutes, keeping the water agitated.
  • Remove them from the dip and place them directly into the main aquarium.

Important: use as a dip only. Never add Reef Primer directly to your aquarium. Work in a well-ventilated area, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and keep away from children.
