The Barred Cardinalfish (Apogon pseudomaculatus) is a peaceful, nocturnal fish prized for its vibrant red coloration and calm temperament. Native to the tropical reefs of the western Atlantic and the Caribbean, this schooling fish prefers to live in small groups in rocky areas or in the shade of corals. Hardy and easy to feed, it makes an excellent choice for a community reef aquarium.
