Frequently Asked Questions
How many reducer bushings are needed for a 2" Classic sterilizer?
You need 2 reducer bushings if you want to reduce both sides (inlet and outlet) of the sterilizer from 2" to 3/4". A single bushing is sufficient if you are only reducing one side.
Is the 2" x 3/4" reducer bushing compatible with the Advantage 2000 series?
No, the Advantage 2000 series already uses 3/4" barb fittings or a hanger hook. This reducer bushing is designed for the Classic and SL series, which use 2" fittings.
Can flexible tubing be connected directly to the reducer bushing?
The reducer bushing reduces from 2" to 3/4" in a PVC slip format. To connect flexible tubing, add a 3/4" threaded male barb fitting (A40054) to the reducer bushing.
