Trace element supplement to intensify the coloration of corals and giant clams

Brightwell KoralColor is a complex of major, minor and trace elements specifically formulated to promote the formation of biochromes — biological pigments responsible for the coloration of corals, clams (giant clams) and allied reef organisms.

Widely used by professional coral fishermen in combination with CoralAmino and Restōr, KoralColor supports more intense coloration without altering the density of zooxanthellae.

🎨 How does KoralColor work?

The coloration observed in corals and giant clams is primarily due to pigments produced by symbiotic zooxanthellae . These pigments (biochromes) include, in particular:

• Chlorophylls a and c
• Beta-carotene
• Xanthophylls

The formation and intensity of these pigments depend in part on the availability of specific trace elements. KoralColor provides these elements to support their gradual incorporation into biochromes.

Important :
KoralColor does not increase the zooxanthellae population and does not act as a general trace element supplement (use Replenish for this purpose).

Shake well before use.

Basic dosage

5 ml (≈100 drops) for 94.6 L (25 US gallons) every three days
(or twice a week)

Recommended dosage

1 drop per 3.8 L (1 US gallon) per day

If certain light pigments (yellow, pale orange) take on a cooler hue (lemon green, aqua) and this is undesirable:

• Reduce the dose by 25% per week
• Stabilize once the desired color is achieved.

⚠️ Avoid overdosing. Excessive use can harm the long-term health of residents.
