Conch Snail
Available
The Strawberry Conch ( Conomurex luhuanus ) is a medium-sized marine gastropod native to the Indo-Pacific. Its elongated, conical shell with a wide opening displays a characteristic orange-pink interior coloration reminiscent of a strawberry—hence its popular name. In reef aquariums, it is an effective cleaner of sandy substrate and actively contributes to the health of the tank.
His role in the baccalaureate
Specialized bottom cleaner for sandy substrates — consumes algae, debris, decaying organic matter, and microorganisms in the sand. Its active burrowing action stirs and oxygenates the substrate, preventing the formation of anoxic zones. Complementary to surface cleaners such as the Turbo.
