The reeflexUV 800 is designed for freshwater and saltwater aquariums from 400 to 800 liters (106 to 211 gallons). Its 11-watt UV-C lamp offers a maximum flow rate of 600 l/h in sterilization mode (bacteria and parasites) and 1,200 l/h in clarification mode (algae and turbidity). It is the mid-range model in the reeflexUV series, ideal for medium-sized reef aquariums. Water flows directly around the UV-C tube without detours or diversions, eliminating any performance loss related to water path.

EHEIM Reflector Technology

The highly polished internal aluminum reflector is the distinctive technology of the reeflexUV. In a conventional UV sterilizer, UV-C rays only irradiate water from one side. The EHEIM reflector redirects the radiation so that it penetrates the water from multiple sides, multiplying germicidal efficiency by 1.8 with the same energy consumption. AUTO-OFF Safety

UV-C rays are harmful to skin and eyes. The integrated AUTO-OFF system automatically cuts power as soon as the device is opened, ensuring safe handling during maintenance and lamp changes.

Installation

Install the reeflexUV 800 on the pressure side (return) of your external filter or circulation pump. The device comes with fittings for 12/16 mm and 16/22 mm hoses, compatible with most EHEIM external filters and other brands. Installation is flexible: no specific position or flow direction required. The included mounting bracket allows for easy installation.
