Polyplab Genesis Rock Booster is an all-in-one set to strengthen your aquarium's biological filtration: two ultra-porous Genesis ceramic rocks, paired with a bottle of Genesis bacteria to seed them. Ideal when starting a new tank or reinforcing an existing biofilter.

Directions (per Polyplab)

Setup: rinse the rocks with purified water, or preferably aquarium water. Place them in a plastic container filled with aquarium water, add the Genesis bacteria based on your tank volume, let stand at least 12 hours, then place the rocks in the aquarium. You can discard the soaking water to avoid transferring dust.

Genesis bacteria dosing: 1 drop per 20 gallons of total system water volume, once daily. When cycling a new tank, increase to 4 drops per 20 gallons daily for two weeks.

Placement by goal:

• Aerobic (nitrite/ammonia removal): above the water line, over a refugium or overflow, with water running over them.
• Anaerobic (nitrate removal): in a very low-flow, low-oxygen area (under sand, quiet sump, aquascape).
• Mixed (general performance): in a medium-flow area.

Avoid placing the rocks where they could rub against vibrating equipment (a skimmer, for example) and get damaged.
