Purified Nitrogen Source for Reef Aquariums

Brightwell Aquatics NeoNitro is a concentrated nitrogen (nitrate) solution specially formulated for ultra-low nutrient (ULNS) reef aquariums. It helps rebalance the Carbon/Nitrogen/Phosphorus (C:N:P) ratio to optimize the natural uptake of phosphate by beneficial bacteria.

When used in conjunction with MicroBacter7, Reef BioFuel or Katalyst, NeoNitro promotes biological phosphate reduction without chemical media and without polluting the system with unstable organic sources.

In ultra-low nutrient systems, it is common for nitrate to be undetectable while phosphate remains present.

⚙ Instructions for use (technical summary)

Test NO3 and PO4 with precise tests or calibrated devices.
Adjust NeoNitro to achieve ~3 ppm nitrate
Wait 24 hours, then test again.
If no decrease in PO4 → system possibly carbon limited → add Reef BioFuel (1 ml / 25 US gal)
Maintain NO3 between 3–5 ppm until PO4 reaches 0.01–0.02 ppm
